Home / Beijing / Temple of Heaven 36
The Temple of Heaven is a huge complex of imperial sacrificial buildings, where the Emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties came to make sacrifices and pray for good harvests on behalf of the people. It was out of bounds to ordinary folks at that time, but luckily we are able to visit it today.
